Lumps and Bumps

Consult your doctor first
We ask that prior to treatment you get these checked by your GP or Dermatologist to exclude problems.

The treatment we offer is called cryotherapy (freezing).

This procedure involves applying liquid nitrogen using a small pen to the age spots to destroy the extra pigment.

Cryotherapy uses a jet of cold gas to safely remove skin tags, warts, and similar. It’s an effective and quick procedure.

The lesion peels off over the next couple of weeks. At that point the skin will be pink so it is essential to use sunblock.

This is a treatment best saved for times when your skin won’t be exposed to sunshine.

Freezing is typically used on a single age spot or a small grouping of age spots.

The treatment may temporarily irritate the skin and poses a slight risk of permanent scarring or discoloration.

Prices

Cryotherapy starts from £150. Prices are determined by the areas that you wish to be treated.

Downtime

You are advised to keep the area as dry as possible.  Showering and bathing are still permitted.

You can go back to your daily activities immediately.
