Who is suitable for Aqualyx®?
If you have a normal body weight, but have isolated stubborn areas of fat then Aqualyx® might be suitable.
If you have significant extra weight or gain weight during treatment then Aqualyx® is not suitable for you.
How does it work?
Aqualyx® is made up from a number of different plant-based compounds that have been refined in a lab environment. It works by dissolving the membranes of fat cells in the treated area.
What to expect after treatment
Following treatment expect some redness, skin irritation and tenderness. This is perfectly normal as Aqualyx® works by causing an inflammatory reaction in the fat cells. The fat cells are destroyed and eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system.
Treatment starts from £225 per vial.
Number of vials required varies depending on the area treated. You may require repeated treatments to achieve the desired result. Typically treatment will be repeated between two and eight times depending on the number of small pockets of fat tissue to be treated.
The treatment can be repeated every three to four weeks.

Immediate Aftercare: Apply cold compresses for 10-15 minutes several times daily, perform gentle massage of treated area after 72 hours, encourage light exercise after 48 hours, and avoid strenuous activity for 24-48 hours.
Ongoing Care: Stay well-hydrated to support fat metabolism, maintain stable weight through diet and exercise, avoid excessive heat exposure for 1 week, and attend follow-up appointments as scheduled.
Expected Side Effects: Swelling and bruising are normal for 1-2 weeks, firm lumps or nodules usually resolve within 2-4 weeks, mild discomfort or tenderness may occur, and temporary numbness in treated area is possible.
